Before Your Massage

If you have never received a massage from me, there's a few things to consider, massage IS for everyone and is more than a luxury, but a total necessity. I will give you a form if I've never massaged you before, and it is imperative that you fill it out and try not to leave out details because you want to get straight to the massage.

I need to know if you have allergies to flowers, fruit or nuts, because perhaps my oil might have one of those ingredients in it (I don't always use the same oil...sometimes I get bored with my oils or lotions). I also need to know if you have warts, acne (or acne-prone), sore skin due to nerve disorders, recent bruises, ingrown toenails, recent surgeries, and if you are on any medications (including meds for Diabetes, heart disorders, or any other disorder). If you are female, I need to know if you are pregnant or possibly pregnant (there are certain points to avoid) and also pregnancy IS contraindicated, especially in the first trimester. Also, if you are prone to miscarriages, massage is NOT something you should have unless your OB/GYN recommends it and has a written note saying it is safe for you.

I would also need to know if you have any pain or tension you would like me to work on, or focus on. Please pay attention to the specific prices. I work for a facility that has a set price list, but if there's something not on the list that you need (for example, you just need your calves worked on for a half hour), I MAY be able to work a price out that you and I can both agree on.

Also, please let me know if there are specific areas you want me to avoid.

Remember, it is also a good idea to turn your phone or pager off before your massage, because it is YOUR TIME to relax.
